The origins of the quest...

This summer, MLB player and all around class act, Jim Thome became the eighth player to hit 600 home runs in the major leagues. Inspired by this amazing achievement, two friends and running buddies decided that they, too, could achieve great things and reach their own "600". This quest involves two of our favorite things: running, and beer. Through this blog, we intend to chronicle our journey as we attempt to 1) taste, enjoy, and critique as many micro brews from across the United States as we can and, 2) simultaneously train for our first marathon in June 2012. What will come first on this quest?
